North Tustin Traditional
This modern kitchen design opened up an outdated 38-year-old space by removing walls and creating a large, cohesive kitchen and great room perfect for everything from casual living to entertaining. Based on a palette of grays, sea foam green, and white, the design is at once traditional and youthful, crafted for ease in daily use that can accommodate a growing family.
The kitchen is a cook’s dream, with a 48-inch commercial cooktop, double ovens, and a large French door refrigerator and freezer with a micro drawer. Open shelving in both the wine bar and coffee area enhance the design’s relaxed, open objective, and a Walker Zanger soft grey decorative backsplash in subway tile and cocoon shapes subtly complements the bright white cabinets. The kitchen also utilizes satin nickel hardware, a Gascogne Blue limestone counter on the island, and pental quartz Stormy Sky countertops around the room’s perimeter. Quarter-sewn oak flooring in a warm grey tone unifies the two spaces and reinforces the organic, yet refined, atmosphere.
